St Michaels Hospice Fireworks Night
KGM Motors UK, formerly SsangYong, is proud to announce that dealer partner KGM Hereford has provided five KGM Tivoli vehicles to St Michael's Hospice to support their "Hospice at Home" team. This dedicated team of palliative care nurses provides compassionate, essential care to terminally ill patients throughout Herefordshire.
The new Tivolis will play a crucial role in helping the hospice provide around-the-clock care to more patients safely and reliably. The Tivoli – KGM’s signature mini-SUV - is perfectly suited to navigating the demands of Herefordshire’s rural roads and will ensure that the nurses can deliver specialised care to both patients and their families seven days a week.
Anne Nicholls, Community Services Sister at St. Micheal’s Hospice, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the five new vehicles from KGM Hereford. Our team spends a significant amount of time on the road visiting patients in their own homes. To do this, we need reliable vehicles, and we’re assured that the KGM Tivoli will meet our needs.”
KGM Hereford – trading as Hereford Motor Group Ltd – has provided several vehicles to the hospice over the past five years, which have clocked up an incredible 396,000 miles. Now, the hospice is looking forward to reaching even more people in KGM vehicles and offering vital end-of-life support in the community.
For KGM Hereford Directors Samantha Davies and Dave Peachey, the partnership with St Michael's Hospice is close to their hearts. The hospice cared for their wife and mother, Lyn, during her final weeks, making this contribution especially meaningful.
“St Michael’s Hospice means a great deal to us, and we want to help their incredible team of nurses continue their work of providing outstanding care to those in need,” said Samantha. “Not only do they support patients, but they also provide reassuring support for relatives and other professionals to make sure individual physical and psychological needs are met.”
In addition, KGM Hereford is proud to sponsor St Michael's Hospice’s upcoming light show and fireworks night on Saturday, 2nd November 2024, at Hereford Racecourse. The event will feature live music, a funfair, and a stunning light and firework display, with all proceeds going towards the hospice’s vital services.
